Travel

Program participants will be picked-up and returned by coach bus at Shannon airport. Please note the Kerry Cup will provide arrival/departure shuttles from the Shannon airport during pre-defined time windows. Participants should not purchase flights until the Kerry Cup staff has communicated time window.  Flights to and from Shannon Airport are the responsibility of the player and are not included in the price. 

Airport Shuttles: There are designated shuttle times that have been carefully selected based on the majority of Shannon Airport flight arrival and departure times.  Please book your flight to allow at least 1 hour of time when you arrive to be ready for shuttle and 4-4.5 hours before you depart to drive to the Shannon airport and check in:

Arrival Shuttle times:  8am, noon

Departure Shuttle times: 5am, 7:30am

Food

All meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner (including the Awards dinner) will be served at Waterville Golf Links.

Housing

Program participants will stay at Lough Currane in the center of Waterville village with their teammates and chaperones. These four-bedroom vacation homes contain two full baths, a spacious living room with a fireplace, and a beautiful kitchen with modern amenities.

Chaperones

Players who come to Ireland as part of a full team are chaperoned by the coach leading the team. Individual participants will be chaperoned by experienced educators from the United States. These educators are professionals who are recruited based upon their experience working with high school kids and international travel.

This program is available to any and all male and female, rising 9th-12th grade students, up to a total of 64 participants.
